It is the safest way to reset your P3100 if it is not responding at all.
After that your galaxy will go through the rest hard processes .
This is complete reset now . smooth to go :-).. One thing, "data wipe out" means wipe out NO data left :-)

Still i will suggest if your not a tech savvy kind, Ask someone who is to do the processes ;)
- 1. With the device off, press and hold Volume Up and Power.
- 2. Release the Power button when you see the Samsung logo appear on screen, but continue to hold Volume Up until the recovery screen appears.
- 3. Use the Volume buttons to navigate the menu and select wipe data / factory reset. Press Home to choose the selection.
- 4. continue.Pressing Volume Up
